Areas of Real Estate & Estate We Specialize In

Residential Real Estate

((_HEADING_))

At Arch Law Group, our real estate attorneys have the experience necessary to ensure that your transaction goes smoothly and that you are protected throughout the process. We offer the personal approach of a small law firm and the resources of a larger firm.

Our law firm has been in operation for more than 50 years. We are deeply connected to our community and driven by opportunities to help our neighbors with their legal issues.

Before a residential real estate transaction is completed, it should be thoroughly reviewed by someone who has the legal background to notice when something isn’t right. If an error or unfair stipulation slips through the cracks it can be extremely problematic down the road.

Our lawyers and staff members have years of experience and a keen attention to detail. We stay up-to-date on current real estate practices, so we know when a contract is poorly written and how to recognize even minor defects. We will help protect your best interests no matter what real estate transaction you are dealing with.

Commercial Real Estate

((_HEADING_))

Commercial real estate is a complex area of law. To ensure that a transaction is handled correctly, you must not only understand commercial real estate, but also be familiar with the changing laws. At Arch Law Group, our attorneys not only have years of experience but also take the time to stay up-to-date on the most current rules and regulations.

We are one of the largest law firms in the area, which means we have the resources to help with many types of real estate matters. As a tea, we work together to take full advantage of our extensive legal knowledge, consulting one another when necessary to ensure a well-rounded approach to each case we handle.

Land Use

((_HEADING_))

One of the most complicated areas of real estate law is land use and zoning. Not only do these regulations change regularly, but they are also extremely detailed, addressing such things as how far from the street a building must be and how its parking lot must be constructed. One small mistake and you could end up violating a code – and fixing code violations can be very expensive.

We have extensive knowledge and experience guiding people through land use and zoning matters. We will advise you of current laws and make sure you are in compliance with them.

Our attorneys have represented for-profit and not-for-profit developers of residential and commercial real estate in the development application processes, including assisting with the application materials and appearing before municipal planning and zoning and wetlands commissions. We have also regularly advised and represented land use commissions in various Connecticut municipalities.

We have represented developers of HUD and CHFA-subsidized elderly housing projects, and developers of urban cooperative housing projects from organization and property acquisition through construction and lease-out.

Over the years, we have represented parties in controversies with respect to boundary disputes, title irregularities, easements and other encumbrances, highway lines, and similar issues concerning real estate. Our services have resulted in resolutions either through negotiation and settlement or through litigation.

We offer experience and sophistication to accomplish results in an increasingly complex environment. We pride ourselves on our quality of work, research and technological capabilities and creating solutions that meet our clients’ needs. Let us show you the value we can bring as counsel for your organization.
