Bridget E. Ertl joined the firm in 2025 and focuses her practice on estate planning, civil litigation, probate administration, and foreclosure matters.

Attorney Ertl received her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from James Madison College at Michigan State University.

At Quinnipiac, Attorney Ertl held executive board positions for the Health Law Society, The Society for Dispute Resolution Competition Team, and Trivia Club. She helped bridge the gap between the medical students at the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine and the Quinnipiac Law Students through joint on-campus professional and informal events. She enjoyed competing in three Arbitration Competitions; coaching teams for Client Counseling, Mediation, Arbitration, and Negotiation Competitions; and volunteering to help at the QUSL hosted American Bar Association Client Counseling and Mediation Competitions. Also, during her time at Quinnipiac, Attorney Ertl received certification to teach Barre Group Fitness Classes and taught weekly on Quinnipiac University’s campus.

Prior to joining the firm, Attorney Ertl was a legal intern for the Honorable Curtis J. Bell in the Kalamazoo County Probate Court where she conducted legal research; attended conservator, guardianship, involuntary commitment, and contested estate hearings; and supervised two undergraduate interns in the role. Attorney Ertl also worked as a legal extern for Hartford HealthCare’s General Counsel’s office and Lawyers for Children America learning hands-on in the field about Health Law, Juvenile Law, and Probate Law. Notably, in her second year of law school, Attorney Ertl acted as a Sappern Fellow in the New Haven Superior Court assisting the public with filing Temporary Restraining Orders.

In her free time, Attorney Ertl loves to attend Irish Dance classes, watch live theatre shows, and re-watch her favorite television show The West Wing.
