AnnMarie Cienava Rocco
Attorney Rocco received her Bachelor’s degree from Suffolk University (1983) and her law degree from Suffolk University Law School (1988). She is admitted to practice law in the state courts of Connecticut and Massachusetts. She is a native of Middletown Connecticut, and attended Mercy High School.Attorney Rocco’s primary practice area is personal injury where she represents clients in motor vehicle collisions; defective premises cases including ice and snow cases, cases involving negligent maintenance, construction and/or design, parking lot defects, and negligent maintenance of real property; products liability cases; uninsured and underinsured motorist cases; and, other negligent and intentional tort cases. In addition to representing injured persons, she has over twenty years of experience representing people in residential and commercial real estate transactions, landlord tenant issues, evictions, foreclosure defense and real estate litigation. Her range of experience also includes family litigation, motion practice and mediation involving alimony, child support, pension valuation and division, real estate valuation and division, earning capacity issues, tax-related issues, custody and visitation, and estate planning and administration.
Attorney Rocco joined Dzialo, Pickett & Allen PC as a principal in 2009 and she now serves as the firm’s President.
Attorney Rocco is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers’ Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, the Middlesex County Bar Association, and the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce. Attorney Rocco is active in civic affairs where she serves on many local boards including as a past member of Mercy High School Board of Trustees, and Strategic Planning Committee; and the St. John Paul II Regional Elementary School Board where she serves as Chairperson of the Finance Committee. She is also a member and Secretary of the Connecticut Federation of Catholic School Parents; Haddam Historical Society; and a member of the Women and Girls Fund of the Middlesex Community Foundation.
